Your personality determines who you can recruit.
If the character you try to persuade is more then 3 personality levels different from you, they will not help you.

The system works as levels of experience.

For every evil action you do, It has a value and is subtracted from your personality

The opposite happens with each good action.

Zero is neutral
Negative is evil
Positive is good.
