Mind Control

They follow you until they die. If you can't bring them into an area you can just kill them. Once you attack the controlled monster, it becomes aggressive again. You can restore it with curative items and spells.

You could blame a crime on someone else. Then go mind control another character to get them to admit to the crime you committed. This causes your personality to become darker.
